You have reached Money
Space : MoneyMoney is what we earn at the end of each month, after putting in a month of hard work in an organization. If a person is a Consultant or running a shop, then the flow of money is likely to be irregular. Even then, one would expect to get some money from customers in return for the services offered. The money is usually paid out in local currency (Dollar, Rupee or Yen). At one time, the barter system was followed where one exchanged a commodity for another commodity. Over time, the implementation of this system became complicated as there would always be a debate of which commodity had more value. It made sense to mint coins or paper currency. Using this, each commodity could be valued at a certain price. It is important that a person earns the right pay for his work at the end of each month. This money is in turn used to support the family. The money that a person keeps aside for savings is usually invested in government bonds or bank deposits. This helps the money grow at reasonable interest rates and in turn helps the country's economy as well. If one is looking for aggressive growth, then the money could be invested in the stock markets or mutual funds, but there is always an element of risk. A country is rated based on the value of currency of that country. A person is usually classified as rich or poor depending on the money he has at his disposal. Thus, one can see from the article that money plays a central part in everyone's lives. Article by Hamara Syndicate. If you wish to contribute to Hamara, please write to info@hamara.in |
