Narsipatnam is a municipality in Visakhapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh. Narsipatnam has a number of educational institutions. RCM School in Narsipatnam is very famous. A number of alumni from this school are well settled all over the world. The city is well connected by road and rail. The nearest airports are located in Visakhapatnam and Rajahmundry. Alluri Sita Rama Raju, a famous freedom fighter is from this place. Leading Telugu film personalities like Puri Jagannadh, Chalam and Jogi brothers are from here.

Narsipatnam has a number of mica, diamond and bauxite mines. The town is also known for handicrafts. Revupolavaram beach is a good tourist attraction. Famous temples of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Shiva are located in Kalyanagiri Hills. The temple of Lord Shiva is very ancient and supposedly constructed more than 1000 years back. Sri Nookambika Devasthanam is a village God of Narsipatnam, where Ugadi festival is celebrated every year. Sri Maridi Mamba temple is a "must see" place since the festival to this God takes place only once in three years. Sri Rama Devasthanam is also a prominent temple in Narsipatnam. Lord Rama's temple is made with a single stone.
