Super Computing Consortium of India Announces Roadmap for Indian Language
Technology Standards
New Delhi, India. February 22, 2017 – The Super Computing Consortium of India has announced its 2017 roadmap for Indian Language Technology Standards. SCCI will continue the work on Sanskriti - the 16-bit Indian language information coding standard focused on embedded systems; help develop SOIL framework – Standard Operating System for Indian Languages and also start working on a new collaboration project for the development of Universal Meta Model standards (UMM). SCCI expects the UMM standards to help in promoting collaboration among Indian Language Technology researchers in the country. |
