Space : SundarPichai

Sundar Pichai is an Indian born American businessman. He is a Senior Vice president at Google where he manages Google Android, Google Chrome and Google Apps. Today, Google Android is the most used mobile operating system in the world.

Pichai had his schooling in Chennai at PSBB (Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan). He graduated with a Bachelors in Engineering from IIT Kharagpur. He quickly followed that up with an MS from Stanford university and MBA from Wharton. Pichai joined Google in the year 2004. Before joining Google, he worked with Applied Materials and McKinsey Company. Sundar has more than 15 years of experience in developing high technology consumer and enterprise products and he is also involved in other Google search products like Google Toolbar, Google Pack, Google Gears, Firefox Extension and Desktop Search. He has been a Director of Jive Software since April 2011. Pichai replaced Andy Rubin (a key architect of Android).

Pichai is married as has a daughter and a son. He lives in the SF Bay Area.
