 About Modumudi Sudhakar

Modumudi Sudhakar hails from the family of Parupalli Ramakrishnayya Pantulu,
a great guru of Dr. M.Balamuralikrishna. He is a Top grade Carnatic vocalist working
as Grade-1 music composer in All India Radio, Vijayawada for the past 23 years.
Sudhakar learnt music from violin maestro, Sangeeta Kala Saagara Annavarapu
Ramaswamy. He has given more than 5000 public performances all over India and
at the Cleveland Music Festival, U.S.A.

Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham felicitated Sudhakar with the title Asthana Vidwan in
2010. He has been the recipient of numerous Awards which majorly include
Ganakalanidhi, Sangeeta SevaRathna. As a composer, he composed nearly
500 devotional & light songs

He established SwaraJhari, a music sabha at Vijayawada and has been successfully
running it since 26 years. He has many students in the country and abroad.
