SCCI Sanskriti is an efficient language (bhaasha) and script (lipi) agnostic coding scheme to precisely and unambiguously code information. It is a published open specification from SCCI. SCCI Sanskriti is a key foundation for SCCI upamaedha family of specifications for operating systems. In fact an operating system that supports SCCI Sanskriti is said to be compliant with SCCI upamaedha level-01 specifications.

Recently SCCI upamaedha group launched "kriya catvaari" - working group #4, to create a list of asian and global scripts (lipi) that would be supported by SCCI technology collaborators in SCCI upamaedha compliant operating systems and devices. Invitations were sent to key research groups across India to join kriya catvaari. A small number of groups responded positively. A collaboration group meeting is expected to be organized soon.

SCCI chair state that many languages and scripts across Asia can be supported by SCCI Sanskriti. These include simhaLa and TibaeTan !

As a precursor to the upcoming SCCI upamaedha catvaari, Dreamchip Electronics Private Limited is planning to add a proof of concept support for TibaeTan lipi on its Siddhi Single Board Computer / Digital School Bag platform.

Time to welcome vikasit bhaarat with SCCI Sanskriti.

State governments interested in leveraging SCCI Sanskriti to bring benefits of digital to all residents of their state - and especially the 95% that speak bhaaratiiya bhaasha such as tamil, telugu, odia, bengaali, assaamii, gujaraati, punjaabi, malayaalam, hindi ... are encouraged to reach out to SCCI.
