Linguistic computation lays the foundation for language models and meta models from where arises computation.

Thousands of years ago Indian researchers such as paanini founded the field of linguistic computation - a field that is largely forgotten today.

Recognizing the need for a platform where scientific researchers, technology developers and engineering practitioners can collaborate to forward both knowledge of linguistic computation : human understanding of the universe; and it's applications : solve challenges faced by the human world through the development of superior languages and technologies ; SCCI has launched maedha - the journal of linguistic computation;

A wide spectrum of scientific, technological and societal challenges can be solved using principles of linguistic computation.

Researchers, technologists and engineering practitioners interested in joining the editorial team and shaping the evolution of linguistic computation are requested to express their interest to join the editorial team by sending a brief bio to SCCI Chair Gopi Kumar Bulusu.

The editorial team will be announced soon.

State governments interested in establishing centers of excellence in linguistic computation at one or more universities within their state can contact SCCI for creating a detailed project proposal.
